Hi!! I am so glad you have found my site. I hear all the time about how difficult it is to find a provider that can work with BPD (and actually make a difference!)

My name is Julie Jakobi and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. At this time I am only licensed in Florida.

My main focus is working with clients and/or family who are struggling with Borderline Personality Disorder. I utilize DBT and EMDR, among other approaches, to help the client find a way to regulate their symptoms and utilize new ways of approaching issues. I believe in education about what is going on in the mind and body so the client can leave my office with information and skills that can be utilized on a daily basis in order to achieve real change.

The majority of my clientele has the BPD diagnosis (usually along with depression/PTSD/anxiety) and I truly enjoy working with this population. I also work with family of those diagnosed with BPD and find it very useful if family or loved ones are willing to work alongside my client.

I take most insurances, but if you do not have insurance please do not hesitate to reach out. We can work together to figure something out. I want you to get the help that you need.
